Lineage Beta is here!

Overview

The workflow data visualization in DataForge has arrived!  Visit our 6.0 Release Blog post for more information on how Lineage works.

Known as Lineage, this interactive graph allows users to see full dataflows from a source container to its output from an output column to its original source node and so much more. Due to the technology of this feature, it is currently in beta and will have many updates in future releases.

Please sign-up or login to your Help Center account and provide feedback in the comments below on what you like about Lineage so far or areas you'd like to improve!  You are also welcome to provide feedback through a Support Request with the Submit a Request option at the top of this page.

Future Enhancements we are currently exploring:

• Multiple named sessions for each user
• Sharing sessions
• Undo and redo
• Refresh saved session

Known Errors:

If you see the error message: "No lineage parameters present. Please check your URL" it means that the node you have select has nothing that exists in lineage.  Try to add something to that node or pull a different one to view.
